My First Published Book!
The Gifts of Ma'at is the first book that I visioned, wrote, laid out, designed, and published in its entirety!
This book offers a potent opportunity to learn about and work with Ma’at, the Egyptian Goddess of Truth, Justice, Harmony, Balance, Reciprocity, Natural Law, and Cosmic Order. The experience shared within these pages provides an extraordinary guided journey to help you align with Truth so that you may move through your days with a heart as light as the feather of Ma’at. You are invited to create 42 Positive Dedications, which provides a pathway for you to move through an archetypal and alchemical process that helps bring understanding of your truth and your place in the cosmos. Writing prompts are suggested throughout to help you record your own ‘PERT EM HRU’ or Book of Becoming Light.

The Logo
I knew at some point I would need to find a name for self-publishing The Gifts of Ma'at, but was more focused on getting the book done.
Then one day I was doodling without a thought about my book, publishing, and logos. I was simply playing with my pen, the paper, and symbolic ponderings...
In Egyptian hieroglyphics, the square with the smaller square in the upper corner is the symbol for house. You will see it in the name for the goddess Hathor with a hawk inside. Her name means House of Horus.
The ostrich feather is the hieroglyph for the goddess Ma'at who epitomizes Truth. (Read more about Ma'at and the feather in my book!!)
On that fateful doodling day, I wondered what it would look like to have the feather in the house and put the two symbols together. Wha La! A logo was born. The two read as house of truth, which when put together became the name for my publishing!
Truthouse was born!
That actual doddle image was then photographed and put into my graphics programs to become the logo you see here. I love when things just work out.
